Crazy Horse and Fireworks

Crazy Horse Monument is near to Mt Rushmore in the Black Hills and is still being constructed. The Museum and Indian Culture at the site is very good and interesting.

Model and mountain

Custer State Park gave me a chance to spot a couple waterfowl on the way to Wind Cave NP.  I am not a cave crawler but the hills are beautiful.

Then on to Custer, SD to see the benefit Firework display for their Volunteer Fire Dept. Well done and enjoyed the 'small town' feel of the evening with kids playing on the field and people doing the two step as the music plays.

 Now moving North on Hwy 83 to re-join Hwy 2 for my journey East. Staying the night on an island in the Lake Oahe on the Missouri River. Another storm on the way - Yeh!!
